CLAUDE.md as contract: Project-specific context files dramatically improve session quality
Subagent parallelization: Use Task tool with parallel agents for independent operations
Model routing: Opus for complex/red-zone, Sonnet default, Haiku for mechanical tasks
Memory persistence: Auto-memory files bridge context across sessions
Fabrication prevention: Always verify LLM-generated claims against source files

Trusting prior session claims: Always verify — multiple claims from prior sessions found to be wrong
Skipping verification: Never report something works without actually checking
Over-expanding abbreviations: Report opaque names as-is rather than guessing meanings
